A Change Of Plan
It's my day off today and yesterday I had it all planned out. This morning I was going to clean the bedrooms - tidy, dust, polish and vacuum then the bathroom. This afternoon I was going to clean, tidy, polish and vacuum the living room and dining room then clean the kitchen. That's what I had planned but when I got up this morning it was a nice day. It wasn't raining and it was sunny and warm. In fact a perfect day for gardening. So I spent all day sorting out the back garden. When we first moved in here the back garden was just a lawn. There were no flower borders - just the lawn. So I dug some borders and filled them with anything I could find. My Mam gave me all sorts from her garden and I just planted them all without any thought of how big they would grow and how crowded it would be. Well, I was looking at the borders the other day and decided that they really did need thinning out. Today I did it. I was ruthless, I pulled things out that really did look out of place and put...
